I get word of a monster approaching from the Peak Crossing - Jimboomba area Awesome mammatus and anvil 'ruffling' I stop at a good vantage point and wait for it. I'm told the storm is max intensity on radar but I'm a little disheartened to see slightly weaker updrafts going up

Starting to look alright!
