A heavy rainshaft
Yeah, definitely time for lunch It was nice to see this to the east over the Cunningham Ranges when we finished lunch! It was quite big, but took a while to precipitate (like it's starting to do in the pic) Soon, another storm formed close to the south of it (not it pic)
Rain begins to fall out of the base - behind a dodgy windmill A heavy rainshaft Now the storm is starting to get going, with green tinges from time to time and heavy rain Rain and hail (reportedly up to 4cm) was falling from this and it was just starting to look like a good storm
And it starts to weaken as we get a bit closer A while later, the chase is on towards Inglewood, to see lightning active storms coming up from the Texas area Outflow and light rain was proving to be very annoying, so it was good to get this shot A distant CG amongst the light rain (just outside of Inglewood)
