The first cell (yeah its a turkey) goes up on the Qld side of the border near Oakington Turkey going up. The bad shear is obvious. Winds were variable here near Warwick. The most dominate wind was actually a 10-15kn SW'ly! (Not the best) This was pretty slow going... time for lunch!
Yeah, definitely time for lunch It was nice to see this to the east over the Cunningham Ranges when we finished lunch! It was quite big, but took a while to precipitate (like it's starting to do in the pic) Soon, another storm formed close to the south of it (not it pic)
Rain begins to fall out of the base - behind a dodgy windmill A heavy rainshaft Now the storm is starting to get going, with green tinges from time to time and heavy rain Rain and hail (reportedly up to 4cm) was falling from this and it was just starting to look like a good storm
