While the BoM wasn't too interested in potential snowfalls so close to Brisbane, we certainly were! On the way towards the Tenterfield area, we experienced rare Queensland snow near Ballandean, then saw a heap of it just out of Tenterfield after experiencing snow in town. A great experience!

I'd say it would have snowed there from about 7pm to sunrise the next day!
