Spot the dam
Exposed rock along Wivenhoe. This area would usually be about 15-20m under water. Rock exposed for the first time since Wivenhoe's construction more than 20 years ago. It looks like the tide is out - well... it is... Not the prettiest beach you've ever seen.

Shouldn't the sign be closer to the water?! Usually it is! Several photos stitched together showing the new spillway - built for holding in flood waters. Not "used" yet.

Spot the dam! It's not really THIS bad... but it is a creek that runs into Wivenhoe that has dried and salted up. This area is usually 10-20m under water.
